• Watchlist: Movies you save for later
• Interaction data: Which recommendations you accept or skip (to improve future picks)

We do NOT collect:

• Personal identification (name, email, phone) — unless you choose to create an account
• Location data
• Contacts or photos
• Payment information

2. How We Use Your Data

Your preferences are used solely to:

• Generate personalized movie recommendations
• Remember your streaming platforms and languages
• Improve the recommendation algorithm

3. Data Storage

• Local storage: Preferences are stored on your device
• Cloud storage: If you create an account, preferences sync via Supabase (our database provider)

4. Third-Party Services

We use:

• Supabase — Database and authentication
• TMDB — Movie information and posters (The Movie Database)

We do NOT:

• Sell your data
• Share data with advertisers
• Use third-party analytics or tracking

5. Data Retention

You can delete your data at any time by:

• Clearing app data in your device settings
• Uninstalling the app

6. Children's Privacy

GoodWatch does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.
